Project Description
This new construction project required separating approx 350 SQ Meters of the existing sales floor of Morrisons Mega store home base Coffs Harbour and completly separating the existing services, Electrical, Data, Lighting, Mechanical and Fire over approx a 4 week construction period. Installiation of a new auto entry door, along with a new Plaster Board full height partition wall which ran approx 35 meters. Externally, a new concrete footpath and stairs were constructed along with a new external awning over the entry, with construction of new stainless steel handrails for disabled access. The sales floor remained fully operational at all times during the fit out / construction works, works requiring multipul stages of construction and work out of hours to ensure the continuing safety for all staff and members of the public. Continuing cleaning and dust management was required to ensure there was not disruption to business or damage to sale floor stock. Sanco Projects targets Commercial Fit Out and Refurbishments Projects in Coffs Harbour, Grafton, Ballina, Woolgoolga, Lismore and surrounding areas.
Client Drivers / Brief
All Fit Out / Construction works are to be completed around the continuing operation of Morrisons existing store, out of hours works were required to ensure that the operation of the loading dock area was not affected by the new building works. Exceptional management of Safety of staff and the public , no disruption to business, ensure budgets and program are met, effective coordination of client appointed trades. Morrisons Electrical has been operating in Coffs Harbour for many years and there reputation for supplying exceptional services cannot be hindered by the refurbishment works.

A very successful project with 0 injuries , 0 incidents, all construction / Fit Out works were completed on time and on budget, with minimal disturbance to Morroisons business and loading dock operations.
